2011 NFL Power Rankings (Week 1)

Here it is!  The first installment of my 2011 NFL Power Rankings

THE CONTENDERS
#1 - Green Bay Packers: To be the champs you must beat the champs
#2 - Pittsburgh Steelers: Pretty much everyone is back for the Super Bowl runner-ups
#3 - New England Patriots: Out of all the Boston pro teams, the Patriots have the longest championship drought
#4 - Baltiomre Ravens: This is the year that Flacco takes the next step
#5 - New Orleans Saints: Packers lost in the first round of the 2009 playoffs and won it all the next year

ALMOST THERE
#6 - Atlanta Falcons: Focused on offense this season and Matt Ryan will become elite because of it
#7 - San Diego Chargers: They have to win the Super Bowl sometime...right?
#8 - New York Jets: If the offense catches up to the defense, Rex Ryan may finally accurately predict his team's fate

PLAYOFFS SHOULD BE IN FOCUS
#9 - Philadelphia Eagles: What do high school fans chant after a big win?  OVERRATED! 
#10 - Houston Texans: See predictions 2006 through 2010 (could this be the year?)
#11 - St. Louis Rams: Potentially the "Greatest Show on Turf Part 2"...defense remains a question
#12 - Detroit Lions: Sexy means nothing until its proven...or healthy


THE WOULD OF/SHOULD OF/COULD OF BUNCH
#13 - Indianapolis Colts: If Peyton Manning was healthy the whole year
#14 - Oakland Raiders: If Al Davis wouldn't waste picks on speed
#15 - Dallas Cowboys: If Marion Barber was still a Cowboy
#16 - Tampa Bay Bucs: If the schedule gods would have been nicer
#17 - Seattle Seahawks: If T-Jax wasn't the guy
#18 - Miami Dolphins: If Kyle Orton were wearing pastel colors

WHAT HAPPENED?
 #19 - Chicago Bears: The correct answer to who won the NFC North in 2010 and who will finish last in 2011
#20 - Kansas City Chiefs: And your 2010 flash in the pan was...
#21 - New York Giants: This is what happens when you can't overcome injuries

ALREADY LOOKING AT 2012
#22 - Minnesota Vikings: If they use A.P. like they should, they could resurface quickly
#23 - Arizona Cardinals: Once Kolb and Fitz make it happen, the 2008 NFC Champs will be better
#24 - Buffalo Bills: If they were in 4 other divisions, they could be competitive
#25 - Washington Redskins: Matt Flynn will try to take this team back to glory...next season
#26 - San Francisco 49ers: Jim Harbaugh likes his guys...not as much as Andrew Luck

ALREADY LOOKING AT 2013
#27 - Cleveland Browns: See Buffalo; but not as close
#28 - Tennessee Titans: It may take 2-years to give Locker and CJ the right pieces
#29 - Jacksonville Jaguars: Start Gabbert already so he can fizzle and you can move past him too
#30 - Denver Broncos: John Elways went to Stanford; so did Andrew Luck the 2012 #1 Pick
#31 - Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton...that is all
#32 - Cincinnati Bengals: My mother told me if I didn't have anything nice to say, don't say anything...
